My twin nieces turned 9 on the 6th. Although I was not able to make it down, I got some pictures, and gave them their gifts when we went to Horn Creek a couple weeks later. All my nieces are growing up so fast!!!

Horn Creek 2007
Every year in January, the church that I grew up with in Pueblo, FUMC, takes a weekend retreat to the mountains near Westcliffe at a Christian resort named Horn Creek. It's always a weekend of great relaxation and fellowship.

Even I, who have only been following hockey for just under 6 years, and at that, only pay most attention to the Avs, understand just how monumental this man is to the game. I knew his name long before I knew why he is so great. I was so psyched to be at this game!!
Jim and Me. The guys next to us asked to take a picture of him because of his crazy hat. We were on the screen (can't remember what they call it) twice before the game started because of it!
My best friends, Shell and Rich I can not thank Scott enough for the most awesome seats that I've now been able to sit in twice!

Snow again...
Snow in review -
Week 1 (Dec. 20-22); Left work early on Wednesday, stayed home on Thursday
Week 2 (Dec. 28-29); Stayed home from work on Friday
Week 3 (Jan. 5); I left work early on Friday to make sure I made it home before midnight
Week 4 (Jan. 11-?); The snow started again tonight. They're not predicting much this time because, well, it's just gonna be too cold!!! Single digit highs for the next 3 days...Oh joy! The snow is beautiful; I could do without the cold and the inevitable, icy morning commute.
Looking at the field across the street from my new office. I found out just how tinted the windows are when I walked outside and was almost blinded!! (Jan. 5)
The piles of snow still in my front yard and down the street. They have a fresh coat of white!! (Jan. 5)

Tonight, looking out my back door. Look familiar?? The Christmas lights are coming down this weekend... (Jan. 11)
