Super Joe!!!

Even though they did not win, Joe is still awesome! And I have a new favorite...Tyler Arnason. Pretty cool guy. I look forward to seeing him play some more. Jim and I were almost able to go to the game tonight. I'm not sure if I'm glad we didn't go or not.........

My kitty family...

I rarely find all of my cats so close together while they're sleeping. I have one picture of the 4 of them together; 2 on one side of the couch, 2 on the other. I don't know if it's the chilly weather, or just the fact that I was in the living room later tonight than I have been recently, but I had to call for Jim to get the camera...fast!! We tried to get a family portrait with him in the picture as well. Unfortunately, while he was running to beat the timer on the camera, he spooked Mickey and Zack and they ran off. Anyway, I realized that I have only one picture of one of my cats in my blog, and wanted to add some more. Here's Mahleah, my fire baby, enjoying what seems to be her favorite thing, and all 4 of my kitties in our family portrait tonight. From left to right - Mojo, Mahleah, Zack and Mickey. Please excuse the jammies and glasses on me! :)

Friday the 13th

This day is supposed to be full of unlucky events, right? I just wanted anyone who may be out there and curious to know that I, in fact, have had nothing unlucky happen to me today...Just for the record.

It's actually my boyfriend's and my 4 month anniversary. For those of you who have been together for years, that probably sounds like nothing to be excited about. However, I'm sure if you think real hard, you too will remember how special those first few months of your relationship were. This is not why I'm blogging today, though. I thought I'd take this time to post some pictures of fun stuff that's happened in the past few months that I wanted to share. So here ya go!!

Of course these are only a few of the special events that have happened recently, but Jim and I are headed out to a movie so I gotta run! :)

Prayers still needed...

This is a post that I should have done a little over a week ago. I'm not sure why I put it off, other than the fact that I want to believe so badly that Zachary will defy the 2-4 months that he's been given to live, and live on to tell the world about how Jesus healed him when modern medicine could not.

I did a blog a little while back on my MySpace page, asking for prayers for 2 little boys. Both boys are still in need of your prayers. Gavin is still having to go through surgeries, though he seems to be on the road to recovery, and Zachary has, like I said before, been given 2-4 months to live. Zachary's parents have brought him home to Greeley and their amazing Faith keeps them going and believing every day that their precious little boy will be healed in Jesus' name. Please keep both of these strong, young boys in your thoughts and prayers.

CU vs. Baylor

My friend Carrie called me at the crack of doom this morning (8:45...) and informed me that she had aquired 6 tickets for the CU game today. I decided that it would be fun to go, and I certainly don't see Carrie enough these days, considering I work about 5 minutes from her house. So off I went to meet her at her place in Henderson. Apparently the 6 tickets were split, 3 in two different sections. For the 1st half of the game we (Carrie, her bf Sean and I) sat facing West, 30 rows up from the field.


And the 2nd half of the game, we sat facing East about 10 rows from the top of the stadium! :) Both sections and views were fabulous, and the weather could not have been better! The clouds would roll over every now and then, blocking the sun from beating down on us, and even when the sun was out, it wasn't unbearably hot.

Unfortunately, CU lost in triple OT - 34-31. But according to the guys sitting behind us, they beat their highest score for the season!! :) Another great Saturday. Thanks, Carrie!!

Cats on the counters no more??

Something I hate to admit, and unfortunately is very true, is that I simply can not figure out how to get my cats to stop jumping up on the kitchen counters. I don't allow them up while I'm cooking, and I keep the counters clean. However, the cats do walk all over them when I'm not right behind them, and sometimes when I am. I've tried everything from spraying them with water, vinegar water, shooting them with a nerf gun, and shoving them off whenever they jump up. This was my boyfriend's attempt at keeping them off the counters...Yes, it's bubble wrap. Sad to say, it worked once, and then lost it's effectiveness. Now they just think that we've cushioned the counters for their conveniance!! Anyone have any other ideas???

My weekend in pictures

I had a fun-filled weekend!! I don't say that often. Most of the time, because I can, I sleep through most of the weekend. My boyfriend is usually working, I only go home to Pueblo once a month, except for special occasions, and quite honestly, I can be very lazy due to the fact that my weekdays run from shortly after 5 am 'til often after 11 pm. This weekend, however, I had a house guest. A very entertaining house guest!! Thanks, Emily, for again getting me out of bed and off my butt!!! Love ya, girl!
