The Kids

It just dawned on me that I haven't posted an update about MoJo in what, a month, two??!! He is doing really well. Back to his old tricks and fighting with the others. Mahleah loves to chase him around, but being the big sissy he is, he thinks she's trying to attack him instead of just play. The neighbors probably think I'm torturing them every now and then because he screams so much. He does limp every now and then, but other than that he doesn't appear to be in any pain. I might take him for another x-ray sometime before the end of the year, just to make sure everything is still healing well. His hair is growing back nicely and you have to really look to tell where he was bald. Overall, same old kid. Here are pics of everyone. Have a great weekend!!

Kristi - The College Graduate!!!

I love my sister so much, and on May 4th, she graduated from college! I can not put into words how very proud I am of her. She is a mother of 4 and also worked during school. Congrats on the beginning of a whole new chapter in your life, sis!! MUAH!!!

One big blog...or blah. Whichever.

I keep putting off posting pictures of all the things that have happened over the past month or so. I get stuck playing Free Cell or Sudoku online and my nights are shot. I've painted a few more areas of my living room, and really need to finish 2 more walls AND my dining room and hallway before I'll really be satisfied... Unfortunately, I lack motivation and energy. And the 2 walls left in the living room are going to take A LOT of energy. They may not look terribly big, but I have to paint around windows for one, and move my entertainment center for the other. I just want it to be magically done without me having to do anything. Any volunteers??? :)

I've also been meaning to say something about all the baby Spring animals I've seen on my way to and from work, and the bunnies that live under my shed!! I can't help but go a little nutty when I'm driving along and glance out to see the cutest baby cows (I know they're called calves, but baby cows sounds cuter, and that's what I'm trying to convey here; they are CUTE!!), and the itty bittiest baby goats, and baby bison (yes, there's a bison farm on my way to work) and baby ankoles (long horned cattle), and even a colt, though I don't remember where I saw it and I only saw it once. I haven't stopped to take pictures, though, so I've had to resort to finding the closest I could online. Bare in mind these aren't as cute as the real thing!

I'm sure some people wouldn't like bunnies in their yard. I, however, find them adorable. And they don't bother me, so I love it!

Another event that was very fun was Jenn's second Bridal Shower. As Matron and Maid of Honor, Anna and I planned a shower to be held in Brighton to accomodate Jenn's friends up North. We had a great time planning and I think it was a big success. We love you, Jenn and Brandon!!

If the rock hard texture didn't give it away, the smell of rotted pumpkin after it's been reheated should!!!

Here we have a cupcake tree!!! Emily and I made this for her mom's birthday, which I think was on April 17th?! It was fun. I don't bake often. We did have to dodge a jumping icing knife, though. For some reason, the knife we were using for the yellow icing thought that it belonged on the floor. Then again, we changed the knife each time, so maybe the icing didn't like the knives??? Either way, it ended up on the floor no less than 4 times. I should've taken a picture, but we were too busy making sure the floor didn't stain!

Tonight, I got my Dyson!!! YAY! My house is now freshly vacuumed and ready for more cat hair.

I have a lot to post...pictures, stories, events, etc... I've been fighting with my computer. It says I have an internet connection, and yet no connection is made! Urgh!!! Maybe tomorrow I'll post some more.
