Changes

For the past I don't know how many years (longer than I've been alive) FUMC has taken a winter retreat to Horn Creek near Westcliffe. Usually the retreat is in January. This year we had our 1st Annual Hermit Basin (also near Westcliffe) Retreat in February. The timing prevented a lot of the usual families making it for the weekend. Those who were able to make it had a great time as always, in a beautiful setting. Mom was pretty sick but hung in like a trooper. Hoola hoops were the big hit with the kids!!

My Dad...

Doesn't like cats. At least that's what he's said my entire life. Fortunately, we all know he's lying. My family has adopted more cats over the years than I can count! And now Dad is making homes for them on their back porch so they have an insulated, weather-proof place to hide from the elements. Yeah right, we believe you Dad!!

I got tired of fighting with YouTube. I'll see if this works... Hopefully I will get a new camera within the next few months!!

My little plant with eyes...

And hair and legs... Long ago Mahleah was dubbed the plant with eyes. She got this title by staying pretty much anywhere you put her. I finally bought the kids a scratching tree. Here is Mahleah being her "plant" self where I put her on top of the tree while Zackary looks up from below.
