Beautiful...

My pictures just can not do justice to the sunrises I've seen on the way to work over the last month. I so wish that I had had time the other morning to catch the moonset over the snow-covered mountains, with the sunrise tinting the clouds with red. Breathtaking!!! However, that picture, taken while driving, turned out rather blurry. I pulled over earlier this week to take this one...still not doing the amazing scene any justice. Hopefully you will also get the chance to see the sun rise over the snow-covered mountains in person!!

Following the trend...

So many of my friends have painted parts of their homes recently that I got in the mood to do a little painting myself. I did 2 "walls" in my living room, and have hopes to do lots more in the somewhat near future.

MoJo update

MoJo is doing really well. We had his 8 week follow up appt. last Thursday. He had new x-rays taken, and some blood work and a urinalysis done to make sure that some abnormalities from just before the surgery were just caused by stress. Everything came back normal!! He still has to stay in his room for a few more weeks, but is well on his way to being back out with the rest of the brood, jumping on counters and fighting with the twins...

After Church

I went to church with Deb and her sister, Becky, while she was visiting Colorado. I wasn't able to stay while they walked around Old Town in Ft. C.'s, but I had Becky take a picture of Deb and I before I left. I've known Deb for almost 10 years now, and I'm really glad we've stayed in touch after our college years. I hope to visit her in San Diego...eventually!!

Deb is visiting from San Diego for a few days. We had dinner at Old C's tonight. It's always nice catching up with her!

Actually...all gone now. The last of the snow from December 20th melted last weekend. And with March turning out to be warmer than usual, it doesn't look likely that we'll get that much snow again this year. I suppose I'll welcome Spring now...if I must!!
